Acupuncture Assistant - Natural Health Center of Austin (South Austin)

We’re an established acupuncture clinic located in South Austin. Our mission is to help people regain their health and achieve optimal well-being through natural, holistic care like acupuncture, cupping, and nutrition.
We’re currently looking for an Acupuncture Assistant to join our team—someone who is quick to learn, deeply aligned with a healthy lifestyle, and excited to support patients on their healing journey.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding new clients and explaining services
Managing customer flow and providing excellent client care
Assisting the acupuncturist during treatments
Removing acupuncture needles after treatments
Applying cupping and moxibustion therapies
Explaining herbal formulas and nutritional supplements
Educating patients on treatment plans and wellness habits
Scheduling appointments and handling phone calls
Representing the clinic at health fairs and community events
Selling recommended treatment packages to clients
Requirements
Must have completed some or all coursework toward an Acupuncture degree (license not required)
Genuine interest in natural medicine, acupuncture, and patient care
Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to help others heal
Comfortable working closely with a small, collaborative team
Bonus Skills
Sales and customer service experience
Familiarity with herbal medicine and supplements
Confidence in speaking with the public and educating others
