AIMC’s Master of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine (MAHM) is a comprehensive, 3.5-year program designed to prepare students for licensure as acupuncturists and herbal medicine practitioners. Accredited by both the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM) and the California Acupuncture Board (CAB), our program offers rigorous academic and clinical training rooted in East Asian medical traditions and integrated with modern biomedical science that prepares you to work in a variety of clinical states across the country.

Practice where YOU want.
California requires the CALE board exam, and most U.S. states require NCCAOM board exams otherwise. We prepare you for both! Our MAHM program meets all educational requirements for licensure in California and most U.S. states. -

Masters program applicants must have:
High school diploma or GED. AIMC does not accept ability-to-benefit (ATB).
The minimum education requirements of 60-semester units (equivalent to 90 quarter units) of undergraduate work from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
