Location
Santa Rosa is a wonderful place to live and work. We’re the gateway to wine country with lots of dining options (especially for the health conscious), farmer’s markets, grocery, and specialty stores with amazing local produce and meat. Santa Rosa is big enough to offer plenty to do, yet has a small-town vibe.
We have amazing weather for enjoying the outdoors year-round. There is a state park in town along with numerous regional parks and trails for hiking, biking, and family outings. Geographically we’re surrounded by the best of Northern California: the coast is 35 min away, San Francisco an hour and 15 minutes, Calistoga 30 minutes, Napa an hour, and Healdsburg just 20 minutes. Sonoma County is a world-renowned destination—and we’re lucky to call it home.
As for the people, they are a joy to work with. Many are already pursuing a natural, healthy lifestyle and are familiar with acupuncture and herbal medicine. We also see a good number of patients who are brand new to this kind of care. The variety of patients keeps things fresh and rewarding. Compared to San Francisco, the East Bay, or South Bay, life here moves at a gentler pace, with more focus on family and well-being.
