the root & the branch is a holistic medical clinic in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. We are looking for a professional, organized, and experienced acupuncturist with a focus in women’s health and/or orthopedics and internal medicine to join our practice. Excellent diagnostic skills are essential, as is the ability to partner with clients on their health and to offer both Chinese medicine-inspired recommendations as well as nutraceutical, dietary, and lifestyle suggestions. Regardless of their health issue, our goal is to meet clients where they are and to support them in making positive, sustainable change.

We have various weekday shifts (4.5 hours each) available. Please send a cover letter with your application.

Requirements:

· Valid California Acupuncture License

· Personal liability Insurance

· Must be able to establish rapport and retain new and existing patients

· Strong herbal foundation

· Interest and proficiency in treating women’s health and/or orthopedics and internal medicine

· Gentle and effective needling style

· Willingness to hustle while remaining present and mindful

· Respect for our medicine and a deep desire to help others

· Ability to blend your clinical expertise with our clinic's protocols and rhythm, for consistency and continuity of care

· Honest, ethical

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:

· 2 to 5+ years of clinical practice

· Good communication skills – verbal and written

· Desire to work at our clinic exclusively

Compensation:

This is an employee position with percent pay per patient commensurate with experience and accrual of sick leave in keeping with San Francisco's requirements.
Mentorship, if desired

Pay: $45-$55 per patient

Schedule:

· 4.5 hour shift
