About Us
Pivot Acupuncture was originally established in Vallejo, Ca in 2018. To support our growing patient base, we moved to our current location in Fairfield two years ago (centrally located 40 mins from Oakland and 45 mins from Sacramento). We are an integrative clinic specializing in Orthopedics, Neurological Conditions and Women’s Health/Fertility Support.
Our staff includes Dr. Shawne, two massage therapists, an incredible office manager, and three medical assistants. We cultivate a healing environment not just for our patients, but for our staff. We value laughter, collaboration, and professional growth.

Meaningful Work: We serve a lovely, incredibly diverse community of patients. Many of the people we treat are brand new to Chinese Medicine and holistic health. You will have the unique privilege of introducing them to this medicine, which makes the work we do here deeply fulfilling.
Zero Admin Burden: Our amazing front desk team handles all scheduling, billing, credentialing, and administrative tasks. You just show up and treat.
Growth Potential: We are looking for someone to start 2-3 days a week with a clear desire to build into a full-time clinician.

Who We Are Looking For
You are a licensed acupuncturist (or soon-to-be licensed) who is dependable, compassionate, and tech-savvy. You are looking for a "work home" where you can settle in and grow.
Clinical Style: You are able to multitask and treat at least 2 patients per hour comfortably. But you are excited at the prospect of treating 3-4 patients per hour.
The Specialties: You have a strong interest in Orthopedics, Neurological conditions, and Women’s Health.
Holistic View: You have knowledge (or a strong desire to learn) regarding Functional Medicine, nutrition, and herbal medicine.
The Vibe: You are professional in demeanor but warm in spirit. You are a team player who brings good energy to the clinic.
Availability: You are open to working some evenings and Saturdays to accommodate our working patients.

Requirements:
California State Acupuncture License
Current Professional Liability Insurance

Bonus: Fluent in Spanish

Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $30.00 – $30.00+ per hour (Hourly Base + Volume Bonuses)
Employment Status: W2 Employee (Commission Based)—not an independent contractor. We pay your taxes!
Insurance: Malpractice insurance coverage provided after your 1st year.
Education: Annual CEU stipend provided after 1st year
