10 NCCAOM PDAs: Acupuncture #PDA-1026-23 This 10-hour module explores the neurological and biomedical foundations of acupuncture, emphasizing sensory pathways, scalp acupuncture, and evidence for acupuncture in reducing inflammation. Participants will review central sensory processing, strategies for assessment and treatment, and will explore how scalp lines map onto neurological structures. The course will further delve into current research regarding potential impact of acupuncture on inflammatory markers and lifestyle challenges that increase inflammation.
