AIMC Berkeley’s Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) program is designed for future acupuncturists who want to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a strong emphasis on integrative medicine. In 2016, our program received the maximum ACAOM accreditation of 7 years.

PROGRAM BREAKDOWN

AIMC Berkeley operates year-round on a 15-week trimester system (3 terms of equal length per year) Our program is designed to be completed in 10 terms (3 1/3 years). The MSOM degree fulfills the educational requirements for both National (NCCAOM) and California (California Acupuncture Board) licensing standards.

The program consists of 172.5 units (3082.5 hours) and is made up of both didactic and clinic practice units.

  • Didactic units: 139.5 (2092.5 hours)
  • Clinic units: 33 (990 hours)

TUITION

Tuition Total = $60,375.00 ($350 per unit, not including fees**)
Approximate Fees = $4,330.00 (excluding books and equipment)
Approximate Books and Equipment = $4,225.00
Total Cost Estimate* = $68,930.00 ($6893.00) per term based on 17 units/term, for 10 terms)

Join us online to gain a comprehensive overview of our programs including curriculum, schedules, tuition, financial aid, our telehealth clinic, and online herbal pharmacy. Current AIMC students will also be available to share their experiences and answer questions.

If you attend and decide to apply for the Fall 2021 term, your application fee of $100 will be waived.
