AIMC Berkeley currently offers several off-site clinical internship opportunities for our students. These are unique opportunities for students to experience and participate in professional environments focused on a specific type of care.

UC Berkeley Sports Medicine off-site clinical internship

The UC Berkeley off-site clinical internship at the Simpson Center for Student-Athlete High Performance provides our students with a unique opportunity to work with world-class athletes. The internship is supervised by Glenn Oberman, DO., who specializes in orthopedics.

Homeless Prenatal Program – San Francisco

HPP provides a safe place for homeless pregnant women to receive supportive services that influence mothers and their babies for the rest of their lives: pre and post natal classes on nutrition; preparing and caring for an infant; breastfeeding; and social, emotional and medical support. Important necessities are also provided to mothers in need – housing, groceries, diapers and infant and baby clothes.

Jewish Community Free Clinic-Santa Rosa

Drawing on Jewish traditions of Tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), the JCFC offers free health care services to anyone in need, without regard to religion. They offer an atmosphere of respect, empowerment and partnership with patients, and strive to assist them in attaining full health and well-being.

Sutter Health: Acute Care for the Elderly

AIMC is excited for our newest clinical internship site at Sutter Health Hospital’s Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit in Bernal Heights, San Francisco.

"One of my favorite things about AIMC is the sense of community. We come together to support each other through challenges. Instead of a sense of competitiveness between students, there is a caring community that lifts everybody up. The faculty and staff are approachable and provide wonderful support during your graduate journey."
