About the Series

For people interested in exploring the Art and Science of East Asian Medicine, our introductory series of classes on acupuncture and East Asian medicine is the perfect way to start your journey towards a healthier and more balanced life.

Enroll in AIMC Berkeley classes where you will learn about the fundamentals of acupuncture and how it works to balance the body’s energy systems. These classes delve into the principles of East Asian medicine, the use of herbs and dietary therapy, and the rich history of East Asian Medicine. Get a taste for what it means to become an Acupuncturist & discover practices to support your health & well-being.

Join a Class

Courses offered vary term by term. Contact Admissions at admissionsinfo@aimc.edu to get information about upcoming classes. A Non-Degree Seeking application is required with an application fee of $100. Courses in this series cost $185 per unit for non-degree seekers. If a student later enrolls in the AIMC program, these courses can be transferred into the MSTAM or Dual Degree program with the standard transfer unit fee. Financial aid is not available to Non-Degree Seeking students. Non-degree seeking students are expected to meet all class requirements including attendance and completion of assignments.
