Join AIMC Herbology Professor Athene Eisenhardt, L.Ac for a Spring Herb Walk! According to the Taoist 5 Elements, Spring is the season of the Wood Element, making this the perfect time to get out in nature and learn about our local plants! Using an integrative medicine perspective, we’ll explore our local California medicinal herbs and how to identify and use them! This walk is perfect for beginners and folks of all ages. Participants will need to be able to walk 2 miles on mostly flat ground.

About the Instructor:
Professor Athene Eisenhardt, L.Ac began studies of herbal medicine began over 20 years ago, while working professionally as a field botanist for Yosemite National Park. This led her to begin wildcrafting and using native California plants as medicine, and to study the Taoist 5 elements in nature. Athene maintains a private practice in Oakland, CA where she offers 5 Element Acupuncture, Sound Healing, and Integrative Herbal Medicine.
