CEU CLASS: 16 CE HOURS, Pending approval from CAB. CEP 436. REGISTRATION NOT OPEN YET
Course Info: Seifukujitsu is a Japanese hands-on healing method that is over 1200 years old. It emphasizes the restoration of the body to a state known in China as “huīfù zhèngcháng – to return to normal.” This is achieved by balancing the energy in the body, and breaking down soft tissue that has been injured, allowing it to properly heal. This is the first of 2 courses in the series.
This course will provide attendees with foundational knowledge and perspective, and help develop basic physical skills that will increase treatment efficacy within a shorter duration. The seminar will cover theoretical, therapeutic, and application principles. Attendees will learn and practice the bodywork kata and specific treatment protocols as stand-alone treatments, and in combination with other Asian medical treatments (acupuncture, guasha, cupping). The course also covers the use of topical liniments and herbal medicine in context of Seifukujitsu.
