MOD 1 : Introduction to Medical Qigong Therapy in Clinical Practice

Module 1 of a 6 module certificate program. May be taken as a stand-alone course.
Option to attend in-person* or via Live Streamed Webinar.
In this course, you will learn the foundations of medical qigong practice, Chinese medicine theory and an introduction to Daoist medicine as it pertains to emotions, stress and wellness. You will learn basic hands-on-healing medical qigong diagnostic and treatment techniques you can easily incorporate into any clinical practice.
You will learn and practice the six healing sounds qigong and several Daoist meditations for clinical boundary setting, energy cultivation and conservation skills.
*Requirements for in-person attendance: Anyone attending an in-person module is currently required to either provide proof of full vaccination OR provide a negative PCR test from within the last 3 days. This must be provided upon entry on the first day of the class. A symptom screening and temperature check will also be administered upon entry into the building. Those who are unable to provide documentation or do not pass the screening may opt to attend the session virtually.
