Feng Shui Day at AIMC

We’re hosting a day of good food & good Feng Shui at AIMC Berkeley. Join us for a delicious lunch cooked with the wisdom of East Asian medicine’s nutritional principles & seasonal ingredients, followed by a discussion on Feng Shui & guided walk through the AIMC Berkeley campus by Golden Gate Feng Shui School founder, Manu Butterworth. Manu will share the basic principles of Feng Shui and then teach us to apply them as we walk through the halls & classrooms of AIMC Berkeley.

Lunch will be served at 12pm & Manu’s Feng Shui discussion will begin at 1pm.

Lunch will include gluten free & vegetarian options.

About the Speaker

Manu Butterworth is Founding Director of Golden Gate Feng Shui School. Manu has over 20 years experience working in the field of natural health and as an international feng shui consultant. He works privately with individuals as well as with architects, builders, realtors, designers, and other professionals.

He has studied Traditional Chinese Feng Shui with Liu Ming, Howard Choy, Alex Stark and with William Spear, educator and author of the best-selling book Feng Shui Made Easy. Manu is also a graduate of The New York School of Feng Shui.



About the Chef

Rosie Ueng smiles with a sandy scene behind her. She wears a colorful sweater & scarf combination and has glasses.Rosie’s approach to nourishment support comes from the understanding that the body heals itself and that each of us has ancestral and natural wisdom to support wellness and harmony within Nature. She loves to cook and eat, and cooking and sharing food with people is one of her greatest joys. Through her consultations, she reconnects people with their intuitive wisdom around cooking and eating with an emphasis on ease, pleasure, and accessibility.

Rosie has been in the culinary field for 15 years and received her Master’s degree in holistic nutrition in 2014. She has since taught and created curricula for nutrition and culinary programs independently and for Bauman College, where she was the Director of Academics. She continues her education and healing journey as a student of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is currently a TCM intern at Berkeley Community Acupuncture. This will be a donation-based event with all proceeds going towards AIMC Berkeley’s Spring Giving Campaign. To register, please choose a donation amount below.

Work Trade: AIMC Berkeley students are invited to volunteer before the event in exchange for free lunch & entry into the Feng Shui event. Work hours will be from 10am-12pm. Space is limited.
