Embodied Radical Self-Compassion: Practices for Decolonization
July 19 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Please join us for a virtual workshop exploring embodied practices for mindfulness, self-compassion, and forgiveness on the path of liberation. This workshop, taught by Dr. Tone Rawlings, will offer participants heart-space meditation and forgiveness practices. In leading decolonization work at AIMC and elsewhere, Dr. Rawlings has recognized the pain, self-judgment, and discomfort that can arise when we dig into our patterns, programming, and history. Healing this pain by offering ourselves mindful presence and compassion is part of a true liberation practice.
This event is open & free to all interested community members. RSVP below to receive the Zoom link to the live event and/or a recording of the session.

“Decolonizing the mind = the act of recognizing the methods of colonization, of understanding that our every decisions are influenced by our colonized mindsets, and of tracking the colonized operating system to transmute self-limiting stories into a gateway to liberation
Decolonizing the heart = the act of freeing oneself from those mental limitations through the deep love, compassion, and forgiveness of the self.”
