Tuition, Fees, and Other Costs

Your Total Cost of Education (effective September 3, 2008)
The current total estimated cost to complete the master's program at AIMC Berkeley is estimated at $56,475; your actual cost may be lower. This estimate includes all required tuition, technology, and fees. This estimate assumes an annual tuition increase of 6%; however, such increases historically occur only once every 2–3 years. (Nevertheless, the College reserves the right to make tuition adjustments of 4–8% that reflect changes in the cost of living and cost of education.)  Your room & board costs are not included in this estimate, as these costs will differ widely among students with varying needs.

Technology Requirement
In order to ensure proper access to technology and its uses in an evolving marketplace, you are required to have an Internet-ready computer with broadband access during your master's program. We expect that most students will have such a computer when entering the program, yet may need to upgrade their Internet access: this estimate includes the average cost of broadband over ten trimesters, but does not include the cost of a computer.

Textbooks
You may buy textbooks through a student book-buying co-op, or you can purchase books online through various Web sites. This estimate includes the cost of new books; however, you can save money by getting used books. Copies of required texts are also available in the library for limited use.

Business Card for Clinic Interns 
We want you to develop habits that lead to a successful practice after graduation. To this end, you will be furnished with personalized business cards once you begin your clinical internship. These cards are made to high quality standards that set them apart from the average business card. Specifications include high-resolution spot colors, high-grade 100% post-consumer recycled paper, and vegetable oil-based inks. Your business card-fee of $50 covers refills throughout your internship with the college.
