HISTORY OF AIMC BERKELEY
The year 2003 marked an emergence of the College, a renewal of vision, vitality, and vigor. Dr. Shuji Goto, esteemed Japanese educator and acupuncturist, joined the College's Board of Directors as Chairman, bringing a vision of world-class education and practice for acupuncture and integrative medicine in the United States. As a result, the College changed its name to Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley (AIMC Berkeley). In 2004 and 2005 the college added a number of public and continuing education programs to its offering, including Acupuncture Integrative Medicine Certification, Medical Qigong Certification, an expanded CEU program, and free seminars for the public. In 2005 the College formally adopted its new Mission Statement, providing renewed direction for the College. |
