Acupuncture School Curricululm | Comprehensive Assessment Examinations (Comps)

Acupuncture school wouldn't be acupuncture school without tests!

Strengthen Your Knowledge at Each Stage...

The master’s program includes a series of didactic and practical comprehensive examinations. These tests offer you an opportunity to review and consolidate your knowledge, and offer us a glimpse into how successfully we have achieved our mutually desired outcomes. Unlike other colleges that tend to have one large exam at the end of each calendar year, we have instead opted for a series of smaller examinations focused on different subjects. With comprehensive examinations folded into review courses, this approach provides you time and opportunity to review pertinent material with your teachers. Your passage of these exams is necessary for advancement into the different stages of the clinical program and ultimately your graduation; as you can see, we have a mutual need for your success.

The following is a schedule for these comprehensive exams:

Trimester 05:
Single Herb Comprehensive Exam (part of OH130)
Acupuncture Comprehensive Exam (part of AC230)
Pre-Clinical Comprehensive Practical (part of CP015)

Trimester 06:
Herbal Formula Comprehensive Exam (part of OH 230)

Trimester 10:
Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Comprehensive Exam (part of OM300)
Biomedicine Comprehensive Exam (part of PE230)
